Sale and development of land or funding for accommodation targeting elderly people
The Housing Innovations Unit is releasing five parcels of land for sale and development, and up to $1 million to support proposals for the development of units for elderly people in Tasmania’s North West.
This represents a unique opportunity for not-for-profit organisations to acquire desirable parcels of land and develop it for accommodation targeting elderly Tasmanians. In addition, up to $1 million is available to support proposals on the identified parcels or on other suitable land provided by the organisation. Organisations with innovative approaches to residential development, including the delivery of ‘affordable housing’, are encouraged to express an interest.
Interested parties should contact the Acting Manager Housing Innovations Unit on (03) 6233 8952 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for further information and Expression of Interest documentation (please quote HIU 2011-004).
Expressions of Interest close 2pm, Wednesday 29 February 2012.
An information session will be held at Reece House, 48 Cattley Street, Burnie 10am Tuesday 17 January 2012.
