Request for Proposals – To Provide Family Violence Counselling Services for Children, Young People and/or Adults

Children and Youth Services, Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking to engage community sector organisation(s) to deliver counselling services to children, young people and/or adults who have experienced family violence.

A Request for Proposal (RFP) is now open to commission suitably qualified organisations to provide family violence counselling services that will extend counselling services for children, young people and adults in the community sector across the state.

The RFP relates to Actions 8 and 9 from the Safe Homes, Safe Families Tasmania's Family Violence Action Plan 2015-2020:

Action 8: Extend counselling services for children and young people experiencing family violence by improving access to services.

Action 9: Provide additional counselling services for adults experiencing family violence by delivering services in partnership with non-government organisations and improving access to timely, dedicated counselling.

Respondents may submit proposals for either one action or both actions, providing the flexibility for an organisation or consortium to prepare a proposal in line with their specific skills and expertise.
