Police and Community Youth Club Inc

The Tasmanian Association of Police and Community Youth Clubs Inc. (TAPCYC) is a not-for-profit, youth-based, community organisation.

TAPCYC Inc. is the peak body for the ten affiliated PCYCs currently operating in Tasmania including Launceston, Hobart, Bridgewater, Clarence, Huon Valley, Burnie, Swansea, the Police Academy, Queenstown, and Longford

PCYC's mission is to provide low cost, positive, sporting, recreational, social and cultural programs in a safe environment primarily for 'at risk' and disadvantaged children and youth.

Each PCYC offers a variety of sport and recreational activities to young people and the wider community, as well as school age care services and gym and fitness facilities and classes.

TAPCYC also facilitates a Mobile Activity Centre trailer program that operates state-wide, with a range of games and activities including Zorb Balls, Sumo Suits and much more!

PCYC Clubs offer a variety of outreach programs which actively support young people to be 'accepted' as valued members of the community, and they are able to offer access to advocacy, support and referrals to other organizations.
